Reng was born on February 2, 2019. He is 5 years old. He has 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is the 5th and youngest child of his parents. He belongs to Aimol tribe. He lost his father in 2021 when he was only 2 years old. His mother went back to her parents soon after and remarried. He was looked after by his uncle. His uncle could not support him any longer as he has a big family of his own. He was then brought to us. We did background check and we found the family is destitute. We therefore took Reng into our fold. The boy appears to be friendly. He will be in Class Nursery.

Muang is 6 years old. He belongs to Paite tribe. He is the only child of his parents. He lost his father in 2022. His mother is sick and unable to care for him. He is therefore looked after by his aunt. His aunt could not take care of him any longer and brought him to us. We made spot enquiry and found that there is great need. Muang is thus taken into our fold. The boy appears to be friendly and kind. He will be in Class Nursery.

Lun is 8 years old. He belongs to Thadou tribe. He has two brothers and one sister. His father is very ill. His mother went back to her parents and remarried. There is no one to look after the children. Seeing their plight, their uncle brought the boy to us and requested that we take him into our fold. We made spot enquiry and found the family in dire need. Lun was thus admitted in the Home. The boy appears to be cheerful and energetic. He is now in Class Kindergarten.

Mawingaihlun was born on September 9, 2013. She is 11 years old. She belongs to Paite tribe. She has three brothers. Her father, the sole bread earner in the family, died in an accident while fishing on November 22, 2024. Her mother has no means to raise her children. She came to know about Angels’ Place through some friends and approached us for help. We are satisfied that it is a deserving case. Hence, we made a decision to admit Lun in the Home. The girl appears to be friendly and kind. She will be in Class V.

Lian was born in Kangkap, a remote village in Churachandpur, District of Manipur. He is 11 years old. He belongs to Paite tribe. He has two sisters and one brother. His parents are cultivators. They are poor, but they are a happy, God loving family. Unfortunately, Lian lost his father in 2013 due to malaria. As his mother could not sustain the family on traditional livelihood, she migrated to Khominthang in search of alternative employment and better educational facilities for her children, renting a house. Lian passed Class VI last year. Now his mother is not in a position to look after him any longer because of mounting financial pressures and failing health. She pleaded that her son be taken by us into our fold. We did background check and we are satisfied it is a deserving case. Lian was thus admitted in the Home. The boy appears to be cheerful and friendly. He is in Class VII.

Siam has one brother and one sister. His parents are cultivators. He had a normal, happy childhood. Like every boy his age, he went to school and had fun. Unfortunately, he lost his father in 2014 in an accident that turned his life upside down. His mother could not continue the traditional livelihood of cultivation. She now makes a living by selling vegetables and smoked meat, earning money barely enough for two square meals a day. She came to know about Angels’ Place through some friends and requested our help. We made discreet inquiries and found that she is in dire need. Thus we admitted Siam in the Home. The boy appears to be friendly. He is now in Class 11.
